We're working with a leading multidisciplinary practice on an Associate Masterplanner Job focusing on design-led, narrative-driven work across major strategic masterplans, new towns, and regeneration schemes. This is a great opportunity for a Senior Urban Designer or Masterplanner looking for more leadership and client exposure in a collaborative, people-first environment.

Role & Responsibilities
  • Coordinate teams and manage resources effectively
  • Take part in site visits, stakeholder engagement, and client presentations
  • Lead complex masterplanning projects from concept through to planning
  • Produce high-quality reports, design codes, visions, DAS, feasibility studies, and presentation material
  • Support wider studio marketing and business development activity
  • Guide junior staff and contribute to evolving design strategies
Required Skills & Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in urban design/masterplanning roles
  • A strong design background and the ability to explain strategy and narrative clearly
  • Comfortable working across scales - from strategic masterplans to fine grain interventions
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite
  • Excellent verbal and visual communication skills
  • Passionate about sustainability, inclusive design, and creating great places
  • Degree-qualified in Urban Design, Planning, Architecture, or related discipline
  • UK driving licence and access to a car
