Accountancy Tutor| New Cross & Gillingham | Full time – 37.5 hours per week| £28,124 – £30,000 per annum, negotiable depending on experience and qualifications Our client is a non-profit making organisation that focuses on offering quality accountancy training and other specialist training courses. They are now looking to add a bright and ambitious AAT/ACCA Tutor to their team. This position would best suit someone who enjoys passing on their knowledge and experience. In particular, the successful candidate will be responsible for teaching/coordinating our accounting training and delivering Functional Skills to our Apprentices and adult learners in small classes (of 18 learners max). An Accountant with practical experience and teaching experience will be desirable. Are you the right person for the job? Proven experience teaching accountancy courses and the ability to simplify complex concepts for diverse learners Knowledge of Apprenticeship standards and End Point Assessment processes Practical experience in accounting roles AAT Technician level qualification (minimum); teaching qualifications (e.g., A1) preferred Experience in delivering functional skills training (preferred but not essential) Proficiency with Sage 50 Accounts, Excel, and other IT tools Strong organisational and communication skills Attention to detail and the ability to work collaboratively in a small team environment Excellent communication skills Strong organisational abilities Patience, understanding, and the ability to motivate learners What will your role look like?
