Head of Corporate Tax/Senior Tax Manager – interim

Head of Corporate Tax – Interim Role in London We are seeking a UK experienced Corporate Tax Senior Manager or an equivalent Head of UK Corporate Tax for an interim position focused on corporate tax compliance and reporting. This role is to commence as soon as possible, initially for 6 months, with potential extension. The primary responsibility is to oversee corporate tax compliance deadlines by supervising and reviewing returns prepared by the Tax Accountant team. During this period, there will be half-year reporting, with no year-end reporting required. The role also involves assessing governance, risk, and controls to identify potential improvements. Business partnering is a key aspect, requiring the provision of tax support to various initiatives within the business. The head office is located in central London. While there is no strict office attendance policy, the expectation is to be in the office at the start of the contract and as needed thereafter to liaise effectively with stakeholders. Candidates should have a robust UK corporate tax background at a senior level, with experience in compliance, tax reporting, and advisory duties. This position will support the successful candidate through to the end of 2025, with potential extension into 2026.
