Passionate about pets and delivering excellent customer service? We are seeking a bright and bubbly Veterinary Receptionist to assist with a busy reception within a small animal hospital. You will be the first point of contact for clients and the general public both on the telephone and in person. You will also be able to demonstrate a professional and knowledgeable impression to promote the Practice and give confidence to our clients.

This is a very fast-paced and varied role that is ideal for a highly driven candidate that thrives on providing a high level of customer service. Our experienced team of veterinary surgeons are supported by a dedicated team of qualified and student veterinary nurses and we all pride ourselves on providing the highest possible levels of patient care.

Duties/responsibilities include:

  • Greet clients and provide exceptional front-of-house service
  • Handle incoming telephone calls and respond to client queries
  • Process payments and manage insurance-related inquiries
  • Respond to client emails professionally and efficiently
  • Maintain the cleanliness and presentation of the reception and waiting areas

This is a part-time permanent role working 30 hours per week with shifts ranging from 8:00am-2:00pm, 1:15pm-7:15pm, 12:30pm-6:30pm, 8:00am-1:00pm, 8:30am-5:00pm.
