Tax Manager Job Overview

1. Manage a portfolio including 100+ corporate tax (CT600) and 300+ personal tax (SA100) returns.
2. Take responsibility for all HMRC tax enquiries and client correspondence.
3. Prepare and review accounts under FRS 102, with some exposure to FRS 105 and group accounts.
4. Oversee VAT submissions, self-assessments, and corporation tax compliance.
5. Collaborate with internal teams including bookkeeping, payroll, and office administration.
6. Support junior staff development and contribute to process improvements.

Tax Manager Job Requirements

1. 3+ years experience in a similar role.
2. ACCA / ACA / CTA qualified or part-qualified.
3. Strong knowledge of UK tax legislation and statutory accounts.
4. Excellent communication and organisational skills.
5. Willingness to work 100% office-based in Harrogate/Leeds.
