As a member of our Private Equity tax team, you will have the opportunity to work with a variety of private equity backed businesses supporting them from investment to exit.

A look into the role
As an Manager within our Private Equity tax team, you will:
- Be advising a broad range of clients on a range of tax issues, covering a broad range of compliance and advisory projects
- Oversee the preparation and review of corporation tax returns, ensuring accuracy and adherence to applicable tax laws and regulations
- Advise on tax implications of business decisions, offering guidance on structuring transactions and mitigating tax risks
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, serving as a trusted advisor and addressing client inquiries related to tax matters throughout the investment lifecycle
- Collaborate with clients to understand their business objectives and provide tailored tax solutions aligned with their goals
- Stay informed of changes in tax legislation, regulations, and case law affecting private equity backed clients, and communicate potential impacts to relevant stakeholders
- Foster a collaborative and supportive work environment, promoting knowledge sharing and continuous learning within the Private Equity tax team
- Support with pitches/proposals. You’ll have a desire to get involved in Business Development activities and actively support with growing the business

Joining us as a Manager, the minimum criteria you’ll need is a professional qualification (CTA/ACA/ACCA or equivalent) with post qualification experience, and to be confident managing a portfolio of clients.
It would be great if you had some of the following skills, but don’t worry if you don’t tick every box, we’ll help you develop along the way:
- You’ll ideally have experience of working with PE backed businesses and/or some transactions experience (DD and/or tax structuring) but this is not essential
- You’ll have reviewed work and supervised people in a tax environment
- You’ll have gained experience working within a professional services environment
- You’ll have experience of managing a portfolio of clients
- An eagerness to develop deep knowledge of the firm’s services and capabilities
