Our client, a commercial London law firm, is looking for a legal secretary who can speak fluent Italian and English in order to assist a team of Italian lawyers. While some paralegal assistance will be required from time to time, this is primarily a secretarial position. However, they will consider law graduates / LPC graduates looking for a start in a law firm.

Responsibilities:

  • Diary management.
  • Anti-money laundering checks.
  • Liaising with clients and gatekeeping duties for fee-earners.
  • Creating and updating client records.
  • Billing and invoicing.

Previous experience would be helpful; however, they are happy to train and mentor a graduate or trainee secretary with a positive and proactive attitude. In addition to the required language skills, it is also essential that you have strong IT skills. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with little experience to gain invaluable law firm experience in a friendly and very team-oriented firm.

McKinlay Law endeavors to contact all successful candidates within 24 hours. However, due to the volume of applications that we receive, we are not able to respond to every candidate individually.
