You will be the lead finance business partner for this modern and expanding FMCG manufacturing business. This is for someone who loves added value activities. You’ll be a finance professional who loves being out in the facility working with the GM and operational leadership team to drive excellence. Your communication skills and commercial awareness / business acumen make you an incredible bridge between finance and non-finance. You’ll be all over the drivers of success and profit – material / labour variances, forecast shifts, margin drivers, cost levers… you’ll be someone the operational team really value and enjoy working with.
This has a high degree of autonomy, managing a small team within business partnering you will be the go-to finance person for the site. If you want to be tied to your desk in a techy financial accounting or group reporting role then this one isn’t for you – this is for someone who loves being out in the business using the P&L to drive positive decision making.
Required:- Business Partnering experience and evidence of success in a manufacturing / production environment.
- CIMA, ACA or ACCA.
- Great interpersonal skills – ability to challenge status quo in a calm, collaborative and professional manner.
- Ability to use MI to influence excellent decision making.
- Ability to use commercial awareness to get behind the numbers and create a real world picture.
