Senior Asset Manager – Maternity Cover

Location: Central London (Hybrid, Office-Based – W1)

Contract Type: Full-Time, Fixed-Term (Maternity Cover)

An established, privately-owned investment management firm is seeking an experienced Senior Asset Manager to join its UK Real Estate team on a maternity cover basis. With over £1.4billion in real estate assets under management across the UK, Europe, and the US, the company offers a dynamic and entrepreneurial environment for seasoned professionals looking to make a tangible impact.

About the Company:

The firm, headquartered in London\’s West End hold an impressive track record in real estate, private equity, and public securities. The companies real estate platform is a key area of strategic focus, operating both independently and alongside joint venture partners to manage a diversified and growing commercial portfolio.

The Role:

Reporting to the UK Managing Director, this role focuses on active asset management of a commercial real estate portfolio in the UK, with a strong emphasis on value creation and risk mitigation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead asset-level business planning, lease management, refurbishments, and ESG initiatives
• Support transaction due diligence and onboarding of newly acquired assets
• Manage third-party providers including legal, property management, and advisory teams
• Execute value-enhancing lease negotiations, rent reviews, and capital projects
• Prepare and monitor annual budgets, reports, and strategic asset plans
• Drive cost reduction, insurance compliance, and rates mitigation strategies
• Oversee in-house residential management team on ESG, safety, arrears, and compliance

Candidate Profile:

• MRICS qualified with c.10+ years of relevant experience
• Commercially astute with strong financial and legal acumen
• Entrepreneurial, self-motivated, and capable of managing multiple complex projects
• Deep knowledge of UK property market, leasing structures, and asset lifecycle
• Proven track record of managing professional teams and external consultants
