Job Opportunity: School Cleaner

We are seeking a School Cleaner for one of Nexgen\’s School / Academy partners located in Ilford, IG6.

• Pay: £12.22 per hour
• Hours: 3pm – 5:30pm (12.5 hours weekly)
• Schedule: Monday to Friday

Core Responsibilities – Cleaning Operative / Cleaner:

• Dust, damp wipe or wash walls, skirting boards, hand rails, ledges, window sills, radiators, lifts, doors, and frames
• Sweep floors using brushes or dust control mops
• Mop floors with wet or damp mops
• Vacuum carpeted areas
• Empty waste bins and transport waste to collection points
• Mix cleaning supplies in correct quantities for safety
• Replenish consumables such as soap, toilet rolls, and paper towels
• Clean kitchens, toilets, urinals, hand basins, and sinks

Qualifications and Skills:

• Previous professional cleaning experience
• IT literacy (use of tablets and smartphone apps)
• Good communication skills in English, both verbal and written
• Willingness to undergo an Enhanced DBS check
