VHR Global Technical Recruitment is looking for a Manager of Product Assurance Engineering, to lead and mentor the quality assurance teams, for one of our clients based in Europe.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the development and execution of advanced quality planning activities, including setting up customer quality requirements and compliance matrices.
• Oversee the implementation of APQP tools and techniques, ensuring adherence to quality systems and processes.
• Mentor and support team members in applying quality and lean tools, promoting a robust quality culture.
• Manage production part approvals and First Article Inspections, and ensure consistent application of certification processes.
• Conduct problem investigations, root cause analysis, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Liaise with customers, suppliers, and internal teams to address quality issues and support continuous improvement initiatives.

What We’re Looking For:

• A technical or engineering degree, or equivalent experience in an engineering environment.
• Proven leadership skills with experience in coaching and mentoring within a manufacturing setting.
• In-depth knowledge of QMS management, ideally within the aerospace sector or other highly regulated industries.
• Strong problem-solving abilities using quality tools and techniques, with a hands-on and solution-oriented approach.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
• Fluency in English is essential.
• Strong project management skills are a plus.
