Catering Assistant

Overview

Trust has a fantastic opportunity for a Catering Assistant to join our team based at Matheson Road, Stornoway, Isle of Lewis. You will join us on a part-time, permanent basis. You will receive a competitive salary of £12.60 per hour.

What We Offer

• £12.60 per hour
• 8.75 hours per week on a 2 weekly rota, on an average of 3.5 days per week, including every second weekend
• Week 1 – Mon, Tue, Sat, Sun
• Week 2 – Wed, Thu, Fri
• Shift times: 4.15pm – 6.15pm

Responsibilities

• You will keep a high standard of cleanliness throughout the kitchen and dining room areas, carry out all cleaning duties as outlined in the development-cleaning schedule
• Help with basic food preparation
• Serve meals to tenants
• When necessary, assist escorting tenants to the dining room

Qualifications

• Ability to work as part of a team and have customer service skills
• You should have or be willing to attain a REHIS certificate in Elementary Food Hygiene
