Location: HMP Standford Hill, Isle of Sheppey, ME12 4AA

Salary: £16,122.32 per annum

Contract: Part Time, 22.5 hours per week, Permanent

We are seeking a dedicated Stores Operative to join our team at HMP Standford Hill, a CAT D Men\’s prison.

Join a team that works Mon-Fri as a supportive and driven family, creating a safe and nurturing environment.

HMP Standford Hill functions like a self-contained town, requiring hundreds of staff to operate smoothly. As part of the Facilities Maintenance Team, your work impacts prisoners, staff, visitors, families, and the wider community.

In this role, you will work alongside experienced colleagues including Plumbers, Electricians, Carpenters, Painters, Cleaners, and Administrators, all committed to providing a safe and secure environment.

Requirements

• Fork Lift Truck Certificate
• Level 2 qualification in English and Maths
• Full driving license (preferably with D1)
• HGV Licence
• Up-to-date First Aid at Work Qualification
• Good Health & Safety knowledge
• Excellent organisational, time management, and people skills
