Equine Sales Assistant (Airfreight)

Intradco is a specialist air charter service focusing on Equine and other live animal charters and scheduled freight movements. We are looking for a Trainee Equine Sales Assistant who will be responsible for assisting in developing new business and arranging operational details related to scheduled horse flights.

Key roles include:

1. Assisting and taking on all operational duties in relation to managing flights from point of sale to actual shipment.
2. Working within the Intradco team to develop the Intradco product offered to the client base with a high level of customer service.
3. Assisting with Sales & Development of scheduled sectors across the global market.

Person specification:

1. Highly desirable for the candidate to have worked with or have strong knowledge of the equine industry as a whole; advantageous to have knowledge of equine transport but not essential.
2. A related qualification in Equine is advantageous but not essential.
3. Maintains a calm disposition and positive outlook, particularly when working under pressure.
4. Ability to think creatively and find solutions when faced with problems.
5. A ‘can do’ attitude is a must.
6. Flexibility to change working hours and patterns if necessary.
7. Trustworthy in all aspects of the role.
8. Self-motivated and able to work with a high degree of autonomy.
9. A full appreciation of the value of co-operation, both internationally and within a team environment.
10. Tenacious and willing to keep trying in challenging situations.
