InterMoor is currently looking to add a Marine Operative to their team on a full-time, permanent basis. Based at our facility in Montrose, the role involves assisting Yard Supervisors, Senior Marine Operatives, Stock Controllers, and Marine Operatives in carrying out duties related to the mobilisation, demobilisation, and maintenance of mooring equipment both locally and internationally.

Duties/Responsibilities

  • Work under the instruction of Senior and Middle management at various locations
  • Maintain all items held in InterMoor's equipment inventory
  • Assist with quayside operations, including direct contact with client representatives
  • Perform general yard duties, including housekeeping and stock control
  • Inspect equipment in line with guidelines on pass/fail criteria
  • Liaise with clients and the yard team regarding current and upcoming hires and hire returns

Requirements

  • Experience in handling and inspecting mooring equipment
  • Basic forklift truck certification
  • Full UK driving license
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
