We are looking for an experienced Operations Supervisor to assist the Site Operations Manager with the smooth running of the Dagenham Distribution Centre. Previous experience in home delivery, transport office work, and some warehouse experience are preferred.
Working hours: 40 hours per week, split shifts between 6am and 11pm.
The Role: The operations supervisor will support the Site Operations Manager in ensuring the efficient operation of the Dagenham Distribution Centre, with experience in home delivery and transport office work.
Daily Responsibilities Include:
- Support a safe and legally compliant Cross Dock and Transport operation.
- Ensure adherence to processes on site and on the road.
- Support operations, fleet, equipment, and resourcing levels to meet demand.
- Lead by example, communicating company values and behaviours.
- Focus on customer service, managing performance to improve NPS.
- Provide innovative solutions to improve performance.
- Coach and mentor team members, building talent and succession plans.
- Collaborate with the Site Operations Manager to identify efficiencies and implement best practices.
- Manage driver hours in compliance with legislation and oversee vehicle and MHE maintenance.
