This role involves overseeing projects from inception to completion, ensuring safe, high-quality, and efficient delivery. You will manage supervisors, delivery teams, and subcontractors on-site, optimising resources to meet budgets and programme deadlines.
Key responsibilities:
- Implementing and monitoring health, safety, quality, and environmental (SHEQ) standards to ensure compliance with water industry regulations.
- Leading and managing site-based teams and subcontractors to drive operational excellence.
- Delivering projects within budget and agreed timelines while proactively managing risks and programme adjustments.
- Contributing to P6 planning during the design stage and ensuring site lookaheads maximise efficiency.
- Collaborating on the Construction Phase Plan using digital platforms to streamline operations.
- Reviewing and ensuring compliance with contract documentation.
- Providing accurate and timely weekly and monthly SHEQ reports.
What we are looking for:
- Relevant CSCS management card.
- SEATS (Site Environmental Awareness Training Scheme) or an equivalent internal course.
- Strong commercial and contractual awareness.
- In-depth knowledge of SHEQ, industry regulations, and legal requirements.
- Proven experience managing subcontractors, supervisors, and on-site teams.
