Labourer – Vehicle Examination Workshop
Location: Edinburgh West
Hourly Rate: £13.48
Hours of Work: Monday to Friday 36 hours per week
Job Type: Full-time, Temporary Ongoing

We are looking for a practical and safety-conscious Labourer to support operations in our busy Vehicle Examination Workshop.

Responsibilities:

• Assist Vehicle Examiners by safely operating vehicle lights, steering, and brakes when instructed.
• Work at slight heights while vehicles are positioned on ramps.
• Carry out general housekeeping to keep the workshop clean and safe.
• Communicate clearly and effectively with colleagues and supervisors.
• Show initiative and a willingness to learn about vehicle systems and workshop procedures.

Requirements:

• A full UK driving licence is essential.
• Comfortable working at slight heights.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• An interest in motor vehicles and basic mechanical understanding is an advantage.
• Reliable, punctual, and safety-aware.
