About the role
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join CBRE’s UK People team in our Business Partner team. The role is to provide HR Business Partner support to our Sectors and A&T Hub businesses, with approximately 500 employees and direct responsibility for around 200 employees. You will work as part of the UK&I People team, reporting to the Senior Director, People Partner.
What you will be doing:
- Deliver the People strategy for A&T, Occupier Accounts
- Provide expert HR advice and guidance to executives, leadership teams, senior managers, managers, and employees
- Advise employees and managers at all levels on UK policies and procedures
- Manage employee relations caseload with strong knowledge of UK employment law
- Drive insights through data analysis and reporting
- Lead key People change and transformation programs, including workforce planning, restructuring, executive hiring, talent management, pay and reward, employee relations, engagement, and performance management
- Collaborate with People Centres of Excellence to develop innovative people solutions
- Support wider CBRE projects and initiatives with People expertise
- Manage matrix relationships and partnerships with COE teams
What you will need:
- Degree in Human Resources or equivalent qualification
- Chartered CIPD status preferred
- Experience in People Business Partnering with senior management in a generalist HR role
- Experience in fast-paced, matrixed organizations
- Extensive knowledge of UK employment law and employee relations
- Proven track record in leading transformation and change initiatives
- Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel, and experience with HR systems (preferably Peoplesoft)
- Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
- Proactive work approach with the ability to work independently and within a team
