This is a hybrid working role with flexibility to work both virtually and from a range of Aon office locations including London, Bristol, Birmingham, Leeds and Edinburgh. What the day will look like:
- As an Investment Consultant you will lead smaller client relationships and act as a support consultant for medium to large clients, overseeing the day-to-day deliverables and junior support team.
- You will deliver advice predominantly to defined benefit pension schemes but also endowments, charities, and other institutional clients.
- Given the breadth of capability at Aon, you will be supported by a team of dedicated client-facing colleagues as well as expertise from our many specialist teams such as risk & modelling, investment manager research, asset allocation and more.
Your day-to-day focus will include:
- Working with Lead Consultants to build relationships with clients, as well as understand and solve the challenges they face.
- Driving business results through efficient delivery of client service and connecting and working with colleagues across Aon’s specialist teams.
- Identifying opportunities to innovate and drive efficiency.
- Developing junior colleagues into future consultants.
- Promoting an inclusive culture across Aon.

- Strong experience of managing relationships with clients.

- Ability to manage small teams of colleagues and delegate effectively.
- Experience of direct people management (preferred).
- Knowledge of investment markets and UK pension schemes (preferred).
