We’re looking for a skilled Shopify Front-End Developer to join Superco, a leading Shopify Plus agency. You’ll work on high-growth e-commerce stores, delivering pixel-perfect UI, seamless UX, and performance-optimised front-end builds. This role is ideal for someone who combines strong technical skills with a deep understanding of the Shopify ecosystem and thrives in a fast-paced, design-led environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Theme Development & Front-End Engineering
- Implement responsive layouts and pixel-accurate designs based on Figma
- Create custom sections and components using Shopify 2.0 architecture
- Integration & Functionality
- Integrate apps such as ReCharge, Yotpo, Klaviyo, and ReBuy into the front-end experience
- Collaborate with back-end developers to connect APIs, custom apps, and third-party services
- Set up analytics, tracking scripts, and testing environments when required
- Work closely with designers, strategists, and project managers to deliver high-quality builds
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practice documentation
- Provide front-end estimates and flag technical considerations early in project scoping
- Stay up to date with Shopify releases, front-end frameworks, and performance techniques
- Identify and implement front-end improvements across client stores and internal processes
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of front-end development experience with Shopify
- Experience with Git workflows and modern dev tools (e.g. ThemeKit, Shopify CLI, npm, webpack)
- Strong attention to detail with a passion for clean, maintainable code
- Understanding of conversion-oriented UX/UI principles
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
Desired Skills
- Experience with Shopify Plus features and checkout customisation
- Familiarity with performance testing tools (e.g. Lighthouse, PageSpeed Insights)
- Comfort working within Agile / Scrum workflows
- Experience building headless Shopify sites is a plus
