ANS is looking for an enthusiastic and self-motivated technologist to join our Pre-Sales Solution Architecture practice within the cloud team. This is a rare and exciting opportunity to join a highly successful team that is at the forefront of cloud technology, working on some of the country’s most ambitious cloud migration projects. ANS is one of the leading Microsoft Partners in Azure, Data, D365 & Power Platform, recently winning Microsoft UK Services Partner of the Year 2024 and nominated in the ‘Winners’ category for the best Microsoft UK Partner. We are a Microsoft Strategic Partner, offering a team with extensive experience and exposure to cutting-edge projects using the latest technologies. We are particularly looking for candidates with a strong Azure/AWS & Managed Service background to support our expanding managed service offerings. A good understanding of Private Cloud and traditional on-premises environments would be advantageous.
What will I be doing?
- Cloud infrastructure pre-sales engagements, working with account managers and sales specialists during customer-facing interactions to develop proposals, presentations, demonstrations, business cases, and proof of concepts.
- Deliver ANS-specific engagements directly with customers in:
- Qualifying and identifying data center migration opportunities
- Conducting detailed analysis and assessment of current solutions
- Leading customer-facing technical design workshops
- Developing cloud transition plans and target operating models
- Creating and demonstrating TCO/ROI business case outputs
- Work with the public cloud practice lead to develop & deliver:
- New solutions and go-to-market offerings aligned with ANS’s engagement model
- Offerings that build on Microsoft and AWS’s current and future engagement models
- Solution accelerators and productized offerings for specific use cases and verticals
- Create video content for marketing materials, LinkedIn, etc.

- Proven experience in cloud computing technologies
- Microsoft Azure certification (must-have)
- Amazon AWS certification (ideal)
- Ability to engage with customers on application requirements and cloud migration strategies
- Understanding of automation and orchestration benefits in modern cloud infrastructures
- Aware of new tooling for application development
What is needed to do the role?
- Candidates should have relevant industry certifications related to public and private cloud technologies.
- Existing UK Government Security Clearance and/or NPPV v3 vetting would be advantageous.
