Business Development/Key Account Manager – German Speaking FMCG Salary: £70,000 – £75,000 Location: London, Hybrid working Our client, an FMCG brand who is rapidly expanding across Europe, they are looking for an experienced Business Development/Key Account Manager to join their growing team. Working within a highly talented Sales team, you will be responsible for driving growth across designated markets, building strategic relationships, and leading a team of dedicated professionals. The ideal candidate is fluent in German , has an in-depth knowledge of FMCG markets in Germany and/or Poland with a passion for the food industry. Responsibilities: Develop and implement a strategic plan to drive business growth and increase market share. Conduct in-depth market analyses to identify growth opportunities, consumer trends, and competitor activities. Establish and nurture long-term partnerships with distributors, retailers, wholesalers, and stakeholders. Lead, mentor, and develop a team of business development professionals focused on these markets. Drive performance for the team, ensuring alignment with company objectives. Develop sales targets and oversee the execution of sales strategies to achieve growth objectives. Regularly report on market conditions, team performance, and sales results to senior management. Requirements: Fluent in German is required Experience in team leadership, with a track record of developing and managing a successful sales team. Strong understanding of FMCG landscape and business development or sales within Europe, ideally DACH & Poland markets, with a strong network of contacts in these regions. Prepared to work flexible hours and ok with travel when needed. University degree level or equivalent, Business or Marketing related degree is preferred.
