Valeting Operative - UK

Euro Auctions conducts unreserved auctions of industrial plant, construction equipment and agricultural machinery on a global basis with sites in the UK, Europe, UAE, Australia, and US. We are the market leader in Europe, holding more sales and selling more lots per sale than any other auction house.

Key Activities:

1. Cleaning the interior and exterior of a variety of plant and machinery.
2. Ensure all machines are presented to a high standard.
3. Assisting other staff in organising and preparing the yard for each sale.

The Person:

This role is an active, outdoor job and requires someone with the ability to operate all types of heavy equipment and trucks. You will be required to work outdoors in all weathers as well as being physically fit to climb on and off machinery. If you have a knowledge of heavy plant/mining/quarry equipment, then we especially want to hear from you.

The Requirements:

1. We are looking for motivated, highly organised people who love a challenge and are not averse to a hard day\’s graft.
2. Ability to take instruction as well as work on own initiative and follow Health & Safety legislation.
3. Willingness to work regular overtime during busy auction periods.
4. Prior experience operating and knowledge of all types of heavy equipment.
5. 1 year valeting experience.
