Restaurant Staff

An international restaurant group is searching for an energetic, driven and highly motivated Restaurant Staff to oversee their team.
This role will be responsible for managing the daily operations of this vibrant, casual-dining restaurant in London’s West End incorporating customer service, team management, cashing up and reporting, inventory, optimising profits and ensuring that guests are satisfied with their dining experience.

The role will suit someone with previous experience in a national restaurant chain. In the future, this role may progress into a management role.

The company have ambitious expansion plans so an enthusiasm for development and progression would be ideal.
Understanding of Japanese culture and some Japanese skill will be advantageous.

Type: Permanent, full-time
Working hours: Shift work 11:00-22:00, 40-50 hours per week
Salary: £35‐45k including service charge and benefit, depending on experience
START: ASAP
Location: London

Main Responsibilities:
• Greeting customers
• Taking orders
• Serving food and drinks
• Ensuring high-quality service
• Supporting the floor and the kitchen
• Efficiently handling day-to-day operations

Ideal Candidate:
• Experience in a floor or kitchen role for an established chain restaurant
• Must have a driven and motivational attitude when it comes to setting up and running a new and exciting enterprise
• Eager to progress within the food industry
• Excellent customer service skills
• Must be flexible to work late shifts
• Excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills
• Problem-solving skills
• Teamwork skills and team leading skills
• Willing to work in both of their central London branches
• Understanding of Japanese culture and some Japanese skill will be advantageous.
