Job Title: SEMH Behaviour Mentor Salary/Rate: £100-£115 per day Location: Camden Industry: Education Are you an experienced Behaviour Mentor with proven experience of building relationships with students and re-engaging them into education and school life? Have you have experience support KS3- KS4 students with SEMH? If so, this may be the perfect opportunity for you! Milk Education are working in partnership with a Pupil Referral Unit who cater for young people with SEMH difficulties in Islington who are seeking to appoint an experienced Behaviour Mentor. The role will involve supporting KS3 and KS4 students who require assistance in overcoming barriers to learning due to SEMH needs and underprivileged backgrounds. SEMH Behaviour Mentor role: * Support pupils to develop resilience, independence, and emotional regulation, both learning in lessons and forming positive relationships with peers and staff. * Oversee written behaviour records of individual pupils by all staff. * Establish positive, trusting relationships with pupils. * Support pupils with activities which support their social and emotional development and promote good mental health. * Support pupils to engage and make progress with literacy, numeracy skills and foundation subjects. * Manage a caseload of pupils, ensuring each pupil receives 1:1 or group mentoring and emotional regulation sessions to discuss their emotional and social behaviour progress. * Work with te…
