Leasing Coordinator Job Type: Permanent- Full Time Salary: £24,648 Per Annum Full Time: Working hours are 8 hours per day Location: Birmingham The Property Leasing Department is responsible for acquisition, leasing and decommissioning of properties for each of Nacro’s operational business streams. Leasing Coordinators are responsible for ensuring the leasing functions are carried out efficiently and within contractual and regulatory frameworks. This role is ideal for a candidate who can work across multiple priorities quickly and accurately, be confident with IT systems, be flexible and adaptable to change, and have excellent communication skills. We’re looking for someone who takes pride in their work and enjoys working as part of a busy team. This is an office based role and no home working. Can you help make a difference to someone’s life? The Property Leasing Department is responsible for acquisition, leasing and decommissioning of properties for each of Nacro’s operational business streams What will you be doing: The Leasing Coordinator is part of a team responsible for undertaking administrative tasks that support the acquisition, leasing and decommissioning of properties for each of Nacro’s operational business streams. To carry out desktop assessments in relation to the suitability of property proposals ensuring that all properties submitted for consideration for the Community Accommodation Service – 2 (CAS-2) have their locations checked for suitability against existing criteria through desktop reviews and all necessary approvals are sought with the relevant statutory agencies. To liaise and communicated with internal and external stakeholders concerned with the acquisition, retention and decommissioning of leased properties across all business streams.. Key Responsibilities To carry out desktop reviews of all prospective new Nacro properties to carry out an initial assessment of suitability against pre-determined criteria. Communicate and consult with key statutory stakeholders (Ministry of Justice, Police, Probation & Local Authorities) to establish suitability of CAS2 property proposals, always adhering to contractual processes and national stakeholder protocols. Undertake extensive record keeping for all properties assessed, rejected, and approved. To track and monitor all property acquisitions through the appropriate processes including property ensuring relevant compliance requirements are adhered to until the property is brought into management. Ensure Nacro’s leasing policy and processes are adhered to by all members of the Property leasing team in relation to submission of approval request documents and information contained therein is accurate. Populate and produce all lease documentation for new Nacro property leases and lease renewals, ensuring leases are approved, signed and completed in line with Nacro property leasing procedures. Ensure that information in relation to property decommissions is captured on relevant documentation and is shared with other relevant teams in Nacro. To ensure that property compliance certification is in place for all new properties by liaising with Property Acquisition Managers and Property Leasing Leads To be responsible for developing and maintaining property sourcing trackers and leasing databases. Coordinate sending leasing documentation to internal stakeholders, e.g. Operational Teams, Maintenance, Finance. Provide administrative support for general Property Leasing activities including incoming call handling, note-taking, room bookings, travel bookings.
