SEND Support TA

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Temp-to-Perm SEND TA to join our team in Winick, Warrington. As a SEND Support, you will play a critical role in providing essential support to children aged 11-16 with a range of complex needs. You will work closely with the school staff and parents to create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment that fosters the children’s learning and development.

Your responsibilities will include providing personal care, supporting children in accessing the curriculum, assisting with mobility and communication needs, and implementing behaviour management strategies. You will have the opportunity to build positive relationships with children, staff, and parents, and make a real difference in their lives.

We are looking for candidates who have previous experience working with children with complex needs, knowledge of behaviour management strategies, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team. A caring and empathetic approach to working with children is essential, and a valid DBS check is required.

In return for your hard work and dedication, we offer a competitive salary of £70-£90 per day (depending on experience), a pension scheme, and ongoing training and development opportunities. There is also the potential for a permanent position after a successful temporary placement.
