Retail Volunteer - Ella\'s Café Lounge Preston

Ella\’s Café Lounge in Preston serves delicious food and drinks alongside some fabulous shopping opportunities.

Our volunteers come from all walks of life and enjoy being in a social, busy environment. We\’re currently looking for friendly, enthusiastic volunteers to help with our cafe and/or our boutique.

For the cafe: Some catering experience is desirable, but full training will be given, including as a barista. Your enthusiasm and reliability are what\’s most important. You\’ll be using a barista-type coffee machine, taking orders and payments, serving drinks and meals, clearing tables, and you\’ll definitely need to be happy to help with the washing up!

For the boutique: You will help with greeting and serving customers, using the till, sorting and displaying stock, and generally keeping things tidy and appealing.

In both roles, you\’ll be dealing with customers, so you need to be good with the public and help create a friendly, welcoming atmosphere.

Hours are flexible and will be discussed with you upon application.
