You will be based in the peaceful gardens of Anne Hathaway’s Cottage or Shakespeare’s New Place, talking and engaging with our visitors about the garden, house, and site. This may include giving impromptu talks and assisting visitors with Frequently-Asked-Questions.

Which skills are we looking for?

1. Good people skills
2. Ability to talk confidently to both individuals & groups
3. Passion to learn and enthusiasm for our vision
4. Flexible in the day-to-day approach to tours
5. Good plant and gardening knowledge or willingness to learn
6. Shakespeare and Tudor knowledge or willingness to learn
7. Possible previous experience in talks and tours
8. Any foreign language skills would be a bonus
