Volunteer Kitchen Assistant

We are looking for volunteers who would like to work in our kitchen to help out with groups, with visitors, and to maintain the kitchen during our welcome space when visitors can come in and make a warm drink and breakfast.
Volunteers would also be called on where possible to help out with events to serve preprepared food or to help prepare items.

Responsibilities:
Preparing food for groups or events, maintaining the kitchen and serving area, and serving visitors with food and beverages.

Skills & Qualities:
Kitchen experience is an advantage. You also need to be friendly and welcoming with guests and visitors.

When & Where?
Ferryhill Ladder Centre

Training and Support Offered/Expenses:
Training will be given to help volunteers in their role, and generic staff training will be made available to volunteers.
Social experience, work experience, and access to training, events, and trips organized by the Ladder Centre.
