Veterinary Receptionist

We are seeking a friendly and experienced receptionist to join our long-established Veterinary practice. This role will be based across both our Basingstoke and Tadley Practices.

As a small team, you will be working closely with other receptionists and the clinical team. We are looking for a new member of staff to join us on a full-time basis initially on a 9-month fixed term contract which could potentially become permanent.

Responsibilities

• Greet clients and their pets
• Liaise with veterinary practices
• Arrange appointments
• Deal with inbound enquiries
• Deal with billing and insurance claims
• General administration tasks

We are based in a great location with excellent links to the M3/M4, (45 minutes drive to Heathrow and only 1 hour to the South coast), Basingstoke is also only a 40-minute train to London. The perfect fit

• Great communication skills both written and, on the phone
• A desire to provide excellent customer care
• Good IT, numeracy and literacy
• Previous experience in a Veterinary environment is highly desirable
• A keen eye for detail and strong admin skills
• Flexible and approachable nature

Your shift pattern

This is a part time position and hours will vary Monday to Friday between 8 am – 6 pm with 1:3 rostered Saturdays between 7:45 am – 12 noon.
