Location: Peterborough

Salary: £11.55 per hour

Role: Full Time Permanent & requires working alternate weekends

Shifts: 7am to 2pm & 2pm to 9pm

About the service:

This residential service has been designed to support eight adults with learning disabilities, autism and complex needs, as well as those who may have experienced previous placement breakdowns. It encourages independent living and quality of life, with spaces designed to provide high-quality living and support that meets the needs of every individual.

Support Worker duties:
  • Supporting residents to develop independence and life skills
  • Assisting people to achieve daily goals & daily activities such as arts, crafts, hobbies
  • Assisting with the development of person centred plans for our residents including employment, education and other opportunities
  • Maintaining records and drawing up risk assessments
  • Providing personal care where needed always working towards more independence
  • Supporting people in undertaking daily activities or development

At Precious Homes, we work by empowering individuals with Learning Disabilities, Autism Spectrum Conditions, and other complex needs, to live as independently as possible, to become integral members of the community and to achieve their goals and aspirations through individual care pathways. As a social care provider we also empower our staff family to make important decisions in the workplace and our aim is to be as person centred with our staff as we are with our service users.

This role is exempt from the Equality Act 2010. Any successful candidates will be required to undergo an enhanced DBS check and supply a minimum of 2 verified references, with proof of ID and 2 proofs of address.
