A Senior Care Assistant is needed for a care home in Halewood, Liverpool, caring for residents living with dementia. The role requires managing the care team, ensuring adherence to CQC guidelines, and delivering high standards of care.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the care team within the home.
- Ensure staff adhere to CQC guidelines while providing exceptional care.
- Promote and deliver high standards of care and supervise staff.
- Instruct less experienced staff to enable full contribution to care.
Required Qualifications
- NVQ/QCF Level 2 in Health and Social Care.
Preferred Skills and Experience
- Excellent communication and written skills.
- Previous experience in an elderly care setting.
- Self‑motivated, resilient and well‑organised.
- Team player but able to work independently.
- Dependable, able to work well under pressure and flexible.
- Previous supervisory experience within a care/nursing home and experience with the elderly.
Benefits
- Salary: £14.00 per hour; annual salary £24,024.
- Permanent full‑time role, 33 hours a week, including night shifts.
