North London NHS Foundation Trust – Chief Digital and Information Officer

North London NHS Foundation Trust is embarking on an ambitious transformation to redefine how mental health care is delivered across North Central London. As part of our Mental Health Provider Review, we are focused on delivering four key aims: reducing health inequalities, eliminating service variation, improving outcomes for service users, and creating a sustainable workforce.

Aligning with the government’s forthcoming ten-year plan, which emphasizes a shift from hospital to community, analogue to digital, and sickness to prevention, we are recruiting a Chief Digital and Information Officer to lead our digital transformation agenda.

This pivotal Board-level role reports directly to the Chief Executive and has strategic responsibilities across the Trust. The successful candidate will develop and execute the Trust’s digital and information strategy, leveraging technology and data to enhance patient care, improve performance, and achieve operational excellence.

Interviews are scheduled for the week commencing 2nd June 2025.

The post holder will:

  • Develop and deliver the Trust’s Digital and Information strategy.
  • Provide strategic support to the Chair, Chief Executive, and Board members.
  • Drive digital transformation initiatives, including data governance, digital infrastructure, and systems innovation.
  • Ensure information security and compliance with data protection standards.
  • Embed digital solutions to support a high-performing, efficient, and responsive mental health service.
  • Collaborate with system leaders across North Central London to support a digitally enabled, neighborhood-based NHS.

North London NHS Foundation Trust (NLFT) is committed to improving mental health care across North London to deliver excellent services to our community.

Our Five-Year Strategy includes:

  • Providing high-quality care closer to home.
  • Ensuring equity of outcomes across all boroughs through partnership.
  • Creating supportive environments for staff to deliver outstanding care.
  • Pioneering research, quality improvement, and technology to increase organizational effectiveness.

Flexibility is required; you may need to work at various locations within Barnet, Camden, Enfield, Haringey, or Islington, as necessary.
