An exciting opportunity for an experienced Publishing Project Manager to join a prestigious, employee-owned academic publishing house. Based in Woodbridge, Suffolk, this hybrid role offers a competitive salary of £29,000 to £34,000 and the chance to be part of a globally recognised organisation. The ideal candidate will bring strong production knowledge and leadership capabilities to manage end-to-end publishing workflows and team coordination.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end project management of book production, both in-house and via external suppliers.
- Supervise and support members of the production team to meet key publishing deadlines.
- Collaborate closely with the Editorial team to ensure seamless handover of manuscripts.
- Work with Partnerships colleagues to support third-party delivery requirements.
- Contribute to wider business improvement initiatives and publishing process optimisation.
What Experience is Required
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in book production or a related editorial role.
- Exceptional organisational and multitasking skills, with a keen eye for detail.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to liaise across multiple departments.

- Salary of £29,000 - £34,000 depending on experience.
