Driver Hire Perth are recruiting for a Class 1 HGV Driver to work with our customer based in Coupar Angus. This is a temp to perm position, where after 12 weeks, you’ll transfer over to our client’s permanent payroll. As a Class 1 HGV Driver, your duties will include: Transporting livestock from farm to factory Completing defect reports Weighing trailers accurately Driving in accordance with Road Transport (Working Time) RegulationsIn return, the Class 1 HGV Driver can expect: Competitive hourly rate of £15.39 per hour Holiday pay accrued in addition to the above rate Full time hours Monday to Sunday operation Various shift start times Alternating shift pattern (Sunday to Thursday and then Monday to Friday)Class 1 HGV Driver Requirements: Category CE entitlement on your UK driving licence Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Minimum of 2 years Class 1 HGV driving experienceThe successful Class 1 HGV Driver will be required to go through animal welfare training – this is provided and paid for by our client.
