Driver Hire Lincoln are recruiting Van Drivers for an exciting ongoing long-term 5-month position!
Location: Horncastle
Start date: 6th May 2025.
Pay: £12.46 - £16.61 per hour.
The work will involve:
- Monday to Friday work
- Delivering and assembling products to businesses nationwide
- Start times between 03:00 and 07:00 in the morning (must be flexible)
- 8-12 hour days
- Loading the van at the end of each working day ready for deliveries the following day
- On rare occasions, up to 2 nights out a week in a hotel (pre-planned with notice)
- Manual lifting required to load, unload and assemble deliveries
- Training provided on how to assemble equipment at each delivery
The hourly pay rate will be £12.46 and £16.61 per hour over time after 40 hours per week. Paid on a PAYE basis. On the occasion you are required to night out, the hotel will be booked and paid for in a Premier Inn, breakfast is included along with a £26.00 evening meal allowance, and £6.00 allowance for lunch.
REQUIREMENTS
- Valid in-date Cat B 3.5 tonne Driving licence
- Personal transport (to and from the workplace)
- Hi vis and safety boots
- 'Can do' attitude
- Flexibility is a must for the customer
- No major endorsements on licence
- Happy to have an enhanced DBS performed on them
- Must be flexible to start early and night out during the week as and when required
This position could potentially lead to a full-time permanent position with our customer if the successful candidate is interested in full-time work. We have several van drivers who have been with us for years because of the friendly working environment we provide and the variety of work we offer them.
