Your Role:

  • Assist teachers in creating and maintaining a purposeful, orderly, and supportive classroom environment.
  • Help in creating learning resources and displays to support students and teaching staff.
  • Support students in developing basic skills such as language, reading, writing, spelling, and mathematics.
  • Encourage concentration, communication, sharing, and other social skills among students.
  • Aid students in accessing the curriculum through clarification and reinforcement of subject matter.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Bring energy and dedication to support students with Special Education Needs & Disabilities (SEND) across the school.
  • Possess experience working with young people in education or related sectors, with qualifications and/or skills to support learning.
  • Recent graduates or gap year students interested in teacher training are encouraged to apply.

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years. The role advertised is for temporary supply work.
