The setting is centred on pupil’s development, as well as an intrinsic desire to make progress both academically and with their own emotional, social and behavioural skills. The school is seeking out a passionate team player to take on the role. A successful Behaviour Support Assistant will be working with students aged 11-16 years with social emotional and mental health difficulties, to support their personal development to provide a broad and balanced curriculum at Key Stage 3 by offering a wide range of academic subjects and subjects to support social, emotional and behaviour needs. The school is seeking a passionate team player to take on this long-term role, the successful Behaviour Assistant will bring a new dimension and skill set to this role, be keen to develop their own skills to adapt to the children’s individual needs and have a positive impact on the wider school. The position will involve working with students across Key stages 3 and 4 with Social Emotional and Mental Heath difficulties/ challenging behaviours. A proactive thinker with the ability to take control of situations confidently is necessary.
