We are looking for a passionate Digital Marketing Executive to take day-to-day responsibility for the digital marketing activity at Burgess. You will coordinate all paid search and social media activity to deliver sales and customer growth/retention for the business.

Responsibilities

  • Implement and manage a comprehensive digital marketing plan to drive sales, website traffic, and customer acquisition across PPC, paid social, and display advertising.
  • Lead digital campaigns from concept to execution, ensuring effective tracking, attribution, performance analysis, and optimisation.
  • Define and manage budgets across all performance marketing channels, forecasting ROI and business impact.

Performance & Optimisation

  • Oversee all digital channels to ensure delivery against KPIs, achieving maximum return on investment.
  • Apply a test-and-learn approach across acquisition channels to continually optimise performance.
  • Use data and insights to inform decision-making, presenting results in a meaningful way to stakeholders and influencing future strategy.

Agency & Partner Management

  • Manage relationships with digital marketing agencies and direct advertising partners to ensure consistent delivery and innovation.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and agencies to enhance the online user journey and overall digital experience.
  • Work closely with the Head of Digital & Content, and wider marketing team to align on strategy and maximise content across digital channels.
  • Support the Head of Digital & Content in developing and refining the overarching digital strategy.
  • Proactively identify new campaign opportunities, emerging channels, and innovative approaches to drive growth.
  • Develop and manage a multi-platform social media content strategy.
  • Handle day-to-day posting and coordinate with internal departments to ensure timely and relevant content delivery.
  • Monitor engagement and interaction data, using insights to shape future campaigns and foster community growth.
  • Create and manage paid social campaigns through platforms like Facebook Ads Manager, tailored to specific initiatives.

Skills and experience

  • Experience working in digital marketing and eCommerce, ideally working across PPC, paid social, SEM, retargeting, and SEO.
  • Experience in luxury/retail/yachting background highly advantageous.
  • Demonstrable experience creating captions for social media channels and copy for paid media campaigns.
  • Solid understanding of the various tools of performance marketing and how to leverage these to deliver quality site traffic and sales.
  • Strong commercial acumen and results-focused with a track record of driving profitable and measurable results.
  • Experience in managing external agencies to devise strategies and deliver results.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience of building commercially focused online marketing reporting.
  • Experience of budget management.
  • Technically proficient with experience of digital platforms and systems, e.g., Google Analytics, Facebook Ads Manager, Google Ads, and Microsoft Dynamics.
  • Experience creating and implementing social media strategy.
