What You Will Be Doing

• Crafting and sustaining an AI-centric finance system tailored for rapidly expanding education enterprises
• Drafting Key Design Decisions that streamline and enhance critical finance workflows
• Providing written feedback on Deep Dive and Improvement Plans to hone logic and train both AI systems and staff
• Engaging in key discussions regarding budgets, growth strategies, vendor contracts, and compliance
• Ensuring the seamless execution of financial operations, including tuition management, audits, and tax compliance

Division CFO Key Responsibilities
Design and manage a streamlined, AI-integrated finance system that supports various fast-paced education businesses, ensuring efficiency and scalability.
Basic Requirements

• Possession of CPA, ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CFA, or MBA credentials
• Over 10 years of experience in finance leadership roles, such as Finance Manager, Controller, CFO, with proven scope and career advancement
• Experience in a high-level finance leadership position (SVP, CFO, or similar) with comprehensive control over all primary finance functions
• Solid understanding of US GAAP and integrated financial statements
• Extensive experience with ERP systems (NetSuite, SAP, etc.), preferably within complex, multi-entity environments
• Conducted or managed 5+ external audits with a Big 4 firm, either as an auditor or a client
• Proficient in English, both written and spoken, with the capability to communicate directly with senior leadership
• Located within UTC-8 to UTC+3 time zones

Nice-to-have Requirements

• Knowledge of K-12 education systems in the U.S. (private, charter, ESA programs)
• Experience developing finance automation or AI-driven processes from the ground up
• Familiarity with finance operations in multi-entity, multi-jurisdiction businesses

Working with us
This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $200 USD/hour, which equates to $400,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
