Production Operator (Intake Department)

Overview

Production Operator (Intake Department) at Fane Valley Co-op Society. This role involves processing production and ensuring Hygiene, Quality and Health and Safety standards are maintained. A key element is working as part of a team to ensure production KPI targets are achieved.

Duties And Responsibilities

• Carry out machinery and equipment safety checks as necessary;
• Maintain appropriate records for the department;
• Operate a Counterbalance Forklift as required;
• Fulfil daily production requirements as instructed by the Line Leader/Production Management Team;
• Keep downtime and waste to a minimum.

The Person

• Minimum of one year experience in a food manufacturing environment;
• Demonstrate excellent communication and problem solving skills;
• Good level of written and spoken English;
• Ability to work accurately under pressure and meet deadlines and targets.

Hours of Work

Monday to Friday Week 1: 2.00pm – 10.30pm; Week 2: 5.00pm – 1.30am; Week 3: 5.30pm – 2.00am.
