Dream Medical is looking for experienced Health Advisors to work within prestigious private Hospital in East London covering 1-3 days per week 09.00-17.30 (Flexible on which days)As a Health Advisor, you will play a vital role in promoting health and well-being among individuals. Your expertise and guidance will empower others to make informed decisions about their health, adopt healthier lifestyles, prevent or manage health issues effectively. Working in diverse settings, you will collaborate with healthcare professionals to deliver health education, conduct assessments, and develop personalised health plans.Responsibilities Offer an outstanding customer experience and put the patient at the centre of their health assessmentExplain clinical results and risk factors to customers – take them on a journey of how this impacts their health and wellbeing and steps they can take to mitigate this riskGive individual lifestyle advice appropriate to customer needs with reference to their health risk, health assessment results, and their health and wellbeing goalsManage and maintain equipment within the clinicHelp to ensure the centre is compliant with regulations set by the CQC, for example, hygiene, confidentiality, customer service, health and safetyCarry out clinical testing including body composition analysis, spirometry, heart rate monitoring, phlebotomy, electrocardiograms, blood pressureTravel as required to complete remote health screens within the UKManage health screen bookings and home testsAdmin support as and when requiredSkills and Qualifications Educated to degree level or equivalent in exercise physiology/sports science/nutrition essentialStrong customer service focusExcellent verbal and written communication skillsExperience of performing measurements or assessments in a health and fitness or medical environment would be desirableAccuracy in information recording and working within clinical guidelinesAbility to build rapport with customers, tailoring your approach to individualsEmpathy and ability to motivate customers to make positive health changesAbility to work independently as well as collaboratively as part of a teamIn return, we offer excellent hourly rates, weekly payments, and your own dedicated consultant to take you through the on-boarding process.We are an Equal Opportunities Employer.
