Overview
HR Assistant role at Binnen Verkoop Ondersteuning BV, Kirkwall, Scotland, United Kingdom. 35 hours per week. Permanent position with salary of £29,010 – £29,594 / £15.90 – £16.22 per hour (including Distant Islands Allowance). Applications from candidates wishing to work part-time are also welcomed.
Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support across the HR function, with a particular focus on recruitment and the preparation of contracts of employment.
- Collaborate with the HR Adviser team to support the delivery of responsive, customer-focused generalist HR advice and guidance to managers and employees across the organisation.
- Support the wider HR and Organisational Development (OD) team as needed.
- Maintain a flexible and proactive approach to work in a busy environment and manage competing priorities within tight deadlines.
Qualifications and experience
- Ideally qualified to SCQF Level 6/7 (e.g., SVQ3, National Certificate, Foundation Apprenticeship, Advanced Higher, Scottish Baccalaureate, HNC, or Certificate of Higher Education) in Business/Administration.
- Alternatively, at least three years of relevant administrative experience.
- Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to customer service and high-quality service delivery.
