Hours: Monday β Thursday 8am β 4:30pm, Friday 8am -2:30pm
Our client is a family owned micro business established in 1976, specialising in the supply of Fasteners to the engineering, automotive and manufacturing sectors.
They are now looking to recruit a full time Warehouse Operative to join their busy team.
The Role
- Check in stock delivered
- Put stock away into the correct locations in the warehouse
- Pick and pack customer orders
- Ensure the warehouse is clean and tidy
- Ensure a safe work environment
- Sort fasteners that have returned from plating
- Serve on the Trade Counter
- Answer the phone
Other Duties:
- Deliver the goods safely and in a timely manner following all Driving/Health and Safety laws
- Ensure the vehicle is clean, tidy and road worthy and report any defects when necessary
- Plan an efficient delivery route (Locally and throughout the UK)
- Service/stock check the customer bin fill systems
Skills and Qualifications
- A good standard of education, to include Maths and English
- Licenced and experience of driving a long wheelbase van
- Full, clean UK driving licence
- Basic knowledge of using a computer
- Experience of working in a warehouse, fork lift licence and knowledge of Fasteners and Tooling (Desirable)
