Hays business support are currently recruiting for a dynamic and forward-thinking organisation within the Shipping industry. You will be a motivated and detail-oriented General Administrator / Data Entry Clerk, joining a small and energetic team on a temporary basis to cover a period of sickness for 8 weeks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to various departments.
- Manage and organise files, documents, and correspondence.
- Schedule and coordinate meetings and appointments.
- Assist with data entry and maintaining accurate records.
- Handle incoming calls and emails, directing them to the appropriate personnel.
- Perform other general office duties as required.
What you\’ll need to succeed:
- Proven experience in an administrative and/or data entry role.
- Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Full driving licence required.
What you\’ll get in return:
- £11.44 per hour plus holiday pay.
- Part-time hours, 24 hours per week over 3 or 4 days.
- 8-week contract with possibility of extension.
