Lemon Drizzle Recruitment has been appointed to recruit a Group Preconstruction Administrator for a Construction Contractor based in Middlesbrough. This role is crucial to support the preconstruction team by working with 10 Estimators across the group. This contractor has built an excellent reputation and has grown significantly over the past decade. They specialise in civil engineering, earthworks, groundworks, multi utilities, road surfacing and building services.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a business that is expanding rapidly and making a big impact in the construction industry. You will be part of a team of 10 Estimators reporting into the Group Preconstruction Director, office-based in Middlesbrough working 8am β 5.30pm. Part time hours will also be considered. The vibe in the office is relaxed yet professional and you will be working alongside Buyers, Quantity Surveyors, Project Managers and other construction professionals.

Key Responsibilities:
- Prioritise workloads
- Typing, preparing and collating reports
- Managing databases such as company CRM system and resources schedules
- Receiving enquiry information, downloading information and storing in company folder structure
- Issuing letters/emails and other documents such as subcontractor and material enquiries
- Chasing subcontract and material quotations by phone and email
- Maintaining filing systems
- Using various computer packages β Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Photocopying and printing (minimal requirement)
- Answering calls, taking messages (minimal requirement)
- Handling correspondence, emails received with subcontract and material quotations (possible requirement to discuss)
- Taking minutes from meetings (possible requirement to discuss)
