We are now recruiting for a Driver's Mate to join us. Reporting to the Transport Manager, this role will be responsible for supporting our drivers to deliver our stock of lagers, ales, and craft beers accurately and safely from our Farnborough depot to our customers, ensuring that each delivery is completed with excellent customer service:
- Supporting the driver and warehouse teams in loading/unloading of stock.
- Supporting the driver with the most efficient traffic routes to help you both get to each location and back home as quickly and safely as possible.
- Building brilliant working relationships with your customers and other departments.
- Holding health and safety at the forefront of all processes.
Experience and Key Attributes:
- Prior experience working as a driver's mate, drayman, or within a warehouse is desirable; however, it is not required.
- Customer service experience.
- Manual handling experience and/or training is desirable; however, full training will be provided during induction.
- Knowledge of the local region.
