Job Summary
Occupational Health Clerical Assistant – Band 2 (26 hours per week, Permanent). This role provides a high‑quality professional administrative service to the Occupational Health (OH) clinicians, including scheduling appointments, scanning documents, and responding to queries.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to the Occupational Health Department, including electronic record keeping, filing, scanning, data collection and photocopying.
- Work on the Reception desk: meet and talk with patients in person and over the telephone, book, re‑book and move appointments.
- Act as the first point of contact for patients using phone, e‑mail or in person and help create a welcoming, caring and safe environment.
Person Specification – Essential
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven organisational skills and ability to multi‑task, prioritise workload and work within tight time frames and deadlines.
- Experience of working within a team.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Teams).
- Ability to work with confidential issues.

- Good general education – GCSE passes or equivalent, including English and Maths.
